On policy funding the national school chaplaincy program
Created policy “Stopping funding of the National Schools Chaplaincy Program ” with description “The National Schools Chaplaincy Program (NSCP) is discriminatory - funding is available for religiously-affiliated persons only. It is also not needs-based - funding is made available to Catholic and independent schools that already employ chaplains. The $250 million paid from the Federal Govt to the States for the NSCP ought to be re-directed to fund secular welfare support officers in government schools of greatest need.”.
