And I move:

That the question be now put.

Scott Ryan

The question is that the question be now put.

Question agreed to.

We now move to the procedural motion. Senator Patrick, on a point of order?

Rex Patrick

I have a query in relation to point (d). In the motion as circulated in the chamber, it has (i), (ii), (iii), (iv), (iv), (iv), (v). Can I have some clarification with regard to that, because I may wish to vote differently on each of those points.

Scott Ryan

I'm going to put the procedural question before I come to that. The question is that the procedural motion be agreed to.

Question agreed to.

Senator Patrick, on a point of order?

Rex Patrick

I wish to also move an amendment, which is why I wanted that clarified.

Scott Ryan

As the question has been put, the current motion is that the other procedural motion be moved without debate or amendment. This question now has to be put straight away. I call the minister.

Mathias Cormann

I move:

That:

(a) the following bills be called on at 4.30 pm and the questions on all remaining stages shall be put:

(b) paragraph (a) of this order shall operate as a limitation of debate under standing order 142;

(d) after conclusion of consideration of the bills the routine of business shall be:

 (i) ministerial statements,

(ii) end of 2019 sittings statements,

(vii) the Senate shall adjourn not later than 40 minutes after the adjournment is proposed.

Scott Ryan

Now, Senator Patrick, you would like that correction on the typo. It would be (i), (ii), (iii), (iv), (v), (vi) and (vii) rather than three versions of (iv)? Can I take that as accepted by the chamber? Yes. The minister has moved the motion.

Rex Patrick

I wish to vote differently in respect of (a)—the three dot points—and also in respect of (d)—the Roman numerals.

Scott Ryan

So you would like (a) and (d) put together?

Rex Patrick

I'd like (a) to be dealt with. I'd like to vote differently on the Australian Crime Commission Amendment (Special Operations and Special Investigations) Bill as to the other two bills listed there.

Scott Ryan

You want that bill separated out?

Rex Patrick

That's correct. In relation to point (d), I wish to vote differently on each of those items.

Scott Ryan

Senator Patrick, I've got to deal with it in the most expeditious way for the chamber. I can group them in a way you will vote 'yes' and a way you'll vote 'no', but I can't do it differently. I'll let you ponder that while I deal with clause (a)—both bills other than the Australian crime commission bill. I will let you sort out the other part. The question is that the bottom two bills—Farm Household Support Amendment (Relief Measures) Bill (No.2) 2019 and Special Recreational Vessels Bill—in clause (a) be agreed to.

Question agreed to.

The question is that the Australian crime commission amendment bill be included in clause (a), which we've already voted for.
