<p class="speaker">Christopher Pyne</p><p>Pursuant to contingent notice, I move:</p><p class="italic">That so much of the standing orders be suspended as would prevent the motion for the third reading being moved without delay.</p>- The majority voted in favour of a [motion](http://www.openaustralia.org.au/debates/?id=2016-10-20.29.1):

- In other words, the majority didn't want to discuss the [bill](http://parlinfo.aph.gov.au/parlInfo/search/display/display.w3p;query=Id:legislation/billhome/r5728) anymore and wanted to [vote on whether to pass it](https://theyvoteforyou.org.au/divisions/representatives/2016-10-20/5) in the House of Representatives immediately.
