8th Feb 2022, 3:39 PM – Senate Motions - Minister for Senior Australians and Aged Care Services - Let a vote happen
Summary
EditThe majority voted against a motion to suspend the usual procedural rules - known as standing orders - in order to let a vote take place. Because this vote failed, the other vote won't happen.
Motion text
That so much of standing orders be suspended as would prevent me from moving a motion to provide for the consideration of a matter, namely a motion to give precedence to a motion relating to the performance of the Minister for Senior Australians and Aged Care Services.
