If not, I call a senator to read that the bill be read a third time.</p> <p class="speaker">Louise Pratt</p>- The majority voted in favour of a [motion](https://www.openaustralia.org.au/senate/?id=2021-08-09.15.1) to pass the bill in the Senate. In parliamentary jargon, they voted to read it for a third time. The bill will now be sent to the House of Representatives for their consideration.
