Title

 • Bills — Ministerial Suitability Commission of Inquiry Bill 2021; Reference to Committee
 • Ministerial Suitability Commission of Inquiry Bill 2021 - Reference to Committee - Refer to Legal and Constitutional Affairs Legislation Committee

Description

 •
Scott Ryan

 •
I notified senators yesterday that at some point I would be declaring the substantive part of this motion to be the reference, not simply the date, and that changing the date would not allow it to be continually brought back before the Senate. I'm giving senators notice now that I will consider a further date change to this motion to be putting forward the same question, because this will be the third time it has been dealt with. I just thought I should advise senators of that before this vote.

 •
Larissa Waters

 • The majority voted against a [motion](https://www.openaustralia.org.au/senate/?id=2021-06-23.122.2) introduced by Queensland Senator [Larissa Waters](https://theyvoteforyou.org.au/people/senate/queensland/larissa_waters) (Greens), which means it failed.
 • ### Motion text

 •
Thank you, President. I shall take that under consideration for future days. I move:
