  • > *That so much of the [standing orders](https://peo.gov.au/understand-our-parliament/how-parliament-works/parliament-at-work/standing-orders/) be suspended as would prevent Senator Whish-Wilson making a statement about notice of motion No. 1143.*
  • In other words, they voted against suspending the usual procedural rules to allow Tasmanian Senator [Peter Whish-Wilson](https://theyvoteforyou.org.au/people/senate/tasmania/peter_whish-wilson) (Greens) to make his statement.
