Description

 •
Sue Lines

 •
I remind senators that last Thursday after 4.30 pm a division was called for on a motion moved by Senator Roberts relating to China. I understand that it suits the convenience of the Senate for that division to be held now. The question is that the motion be agreed to.

 •
Question agreed to.

 • The majority voted in favour of a [motion](https://www.openaustralia.org.au/senate/?id=2020-12-03.209.2) introduced by Queensland Senator [Malcolm Roberts](https://theyvoteforyou.org.au/people/senate/queensland/malcolm_roberts) (Pauline Hanson Party), which means it passed. Motions like these don't make any legal changes on their own but are politically influential because they represent the will of the Senate.
