<p class="speaker">Scott Ryan</p><p>No amendments have been circulated. Does any senator require a committee stage? If not, I shall call the minister to move the third reading.</p> <p class="speaker">Marise Payne</p>- The majority voted in favour of a [motion](https://www.openaustralia.org.au/senate/?id=2020-06-10.13.1) to pass the bill. In other words, they voted to read it for a [third time](https://peo.gov.au/understand-our-parliament/how-parliament-works/bills-and-laws/making-a-law-in-the-australian-parliament/). Because it had already been read for a third time in the House of Representatives, it will now become law.
