  • <p>I move the second reading amendment which was foreshadowed during my speech in the second reading debate.</p>
  • <p class="italic">At the end of the motion, add:</p>
  • The majority voted against a [motion](https://www.openaustralia.org.au/senate/?gid=2018-06-20.17.1) introduced by Victorian Senator [Richard Di Natale](https://theyvoteforyou.org.au/people/senate/victoria/richard_di_natale), which means it failed.

  • > *(a) the bill should not be considered until the minimum wage is lifted to 60% of the median wage, and Newstart, Youth Allowance and related allowances are increased by $75 a week; and*
