- The majority voted in favour of a motion introduced by West Australian Senator [Mathias Cormann](https://theyvoteforyou.org.au/people/senate/wa/mathias_cormann) (Liberal), which means it succeeded.

- >> *(a) the business of the Senate notice of motion proposing the disallowance of five instruments made under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 relating to Marine Parks Network Management Plans, standing in the name of Senator Pratt, be called on immediately and have precedence over all other business; and*

- >> *(b) the Senate shall adjourn without debate after the disallowance motion has concluded, or at midnight, whichever is the earlier, or a motion for the adjournment is moved by a minister.*

I'll put the motion moved by Senator Cormann—Senator Pratt.</p> <p class="speaker">Louise Pratt</p><p>I'm just trying to work out what the future question before the chamber is, given that I have not yet moved a disallowance motion.</p> <p class="speaker">Scott Ryan</p><p>We'll deal with procedural matters following Senator Cormann's motion which is before the chair. I'll put this to a vote now. The question is that the motion moved by Senator Cormann be agreed to.</p> -
