<p class="speaker">Concetta Fierravanti-Wells</p><p>I move:</p><p class="italic">That this bill be now read a third time.</p>- The majority voted in favour of passing [the bill](http://parlinfo.aph.gov.au/parlInfo/search/display/display.w3p;query=Id:legislation/billhome/r5939) as amended in the Senate. In parliamentary jargon, they voted to read the bill [for a third time](https://www.peo.gov.au/learning/fact-sheets/making-a-law.html).
- The bill will now return to the House where our Members of Parliament (MPs) will decide whether they agree with the Senate's amendments.

- The bill was introduced to:
- > *remove certain restrictions on the cashless debit card trial and thereby allow the extension of trial arrangements in current sites and to further sites.*
