  • <p>The political donations framework is currently being reviewed by the Joint Standing Committee on Electoral Matters as part of its inquiry into the 2016 federal election. It is appropriate that this committee be given a chance to investigate the matter of political donations and that we carefully consider any recommendations.</p>
