In other words, they agreed with the main idea of the bill and will now discuss it in more detail.

- * will lower the minimum threshold for repaying [Higher Education Loan Programme](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tertiary_education_fees_in_Australia) (HELP) debts from $54,868/years to $51,956/year;
- * gets rid of the [Job Commitment Bonus](https://www.employment.gov.au/job-commitment-bonus-young-australians-0); and
- * reduces funding to the [Australian Renewable Energy Agency](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australian_Renewable_Energy_Agency).
