  • <p pwmotiontext="moved">That the amendment (<b>Senator Milne&#8217;s</b>) be agreed to.</p>
  • The majority voted against an [http://www.openaustralia.org/senate/?gid=2009-11-30.373.1 amendment] introduced by Greens Senator [http://publicwhip-test.openaustraliafoundation.org.au/mp.php?mpn=Christine_Milne&mpc=Senate&house=senate Christine Milne].
  • Senator Milne explained that this amendment relates to the reforestation aspects of the bill. She said that the Greens Party believe that "the Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme should be for fossil fuels and that we should keep all green carbon separate from the scheme". She argued that "green carbon should be dealt with by a separate mechanism."[1]
