However, the question on the motion to report the bill to the House without amendment was unresolved. Under standing order 188, unresolved questions from the Federation Chamber are reported to the House for resolution.</p> <p>The process of reporting the unresolved question to the House now resolves the matter.</p> <p>There are a number of precedents for not proceeding to deal with unresolved questions which have become redundant in such circumstances.
