- The majority voted in favour of *disagreeing* with [amendment (3)](https://www.openaustralia.org.au/debate/?id=2023-05-24.188.1), which was introduced by Bradfield MP [Paul Fletcher](https://theyvoteforyou.org.au/people/representatives/bradfield/paul_fletcher) (Liberal). This means it failed.

- > *this amendment, working together with amendments [(2)](https://theyvoteforyou.org.au/divisions/representatives/2023-05-25/2), [(4)](https://theyvoteforyou.org.au/divisions/representatives/2023-05-25/4) and [(11)](https://theyvoteforyou.org.au/divisions/representatives/2023-05-25/1), would be to expand the notice period required for flexible unpaid parental leave to include the start and end dates and the number of days at the 10-week point of notice.*
