- The majority voted in favour of a [motion](https://www.openaustralia.org.au/debates/?id=2022-09-08.114.1) to agree with an amendment made by the Senate. This means that that amendment - which relates to the prescribed functions of ARENA - will now be part of the [bill](https://www.aph.gov.au/Parliamentary_Business/Bills_Legislation/Bills_Search_Results/Result?bId=r6886).
- This vote means that all parts of the bill have now been agreed to by both the House and the Senate, which in turn means that the bill will now [become law](https://peo.gov.au/understand-our-parliament/how-parliament-works/bills-and-laws/making-a-law-in-the-australian-parliament/).
