  • <p>It now being past 4.30 pm, I propose the question:</p>
  • <p class="italic">That the House do now adjourn.</p>
  • The majority voted in favour of a [motion](https://www.openaustralia.org.au/debates/?id=2020-09-03.151.2) "*That the House do* not *adjourn.*" In other words, they voted to keep sitting in Parliament rather than adjourning for the day.
