  • <p>The question is that the motion for the suspension of standing orders be disagreed to.</p>
  • The majority voted in favour of *disagreeing* with a [motion]( introduced by Grayndler MP [Anthony Albanese]( (Labor), which means it failed. The motion was to suspend the usual procedural rules - known as [standing orders]( - so that another vote could take place. Since it failed, that second vote won't happen.
